A group of 10 poems printed as Christmas greetings booklets, New York: The Spiral Press, 1944/62, the first four inscribed by the author to titles (one signed and one initialled), mostly with a few woodcuts or wood-engravings, original stapled printed wrappers (some pictorial, first booklet stitched as issued), spines to 1951 and 1959 booklets frayed, 1957 a little browned on spine and minor marks to lower wrapper, 1959 browned on spine, 1960 a little light browning at upper margins and to wrappers, 1961 browned on spine and partly on wrappers with split at foot, 1962 a little marked, all slim 8vo and smaller sizes This lot consists of: An Unstamped Letter in our Rural Letter Box, 1944 (inscribed '[from] your neighbor R.F.'); Holiday Greetings, 1949 (inscribed 'For the Turners that may not forget the old neighborhood'); A Cabin in the Clearing, 1951 (inscribed '[a new poem] about your country [comes to you with Holiday Greetings] the most patriotic [Robert Frost] your old friend and neighbor round the corner from the Rudesel*', and beneath '*slurring name in our annals'); One More Brevity, 1953, (inscribed from 'Your old friend and neighbor Robert Frost'); Kitty Hawk, 1956'; My Objection to Being Stepped On, 1957; A-Wishing Well, 1959; Accidentally On Purpose, 1960; The Wood-Pile, 1961; The Prophets Really Prophecy as Mystics, The Commentators Merely by Statistics, 1962.
