A GROUP OF NEAR EASTERN BRONZES MAINLY 2ND MILLENNIUM B.C. AND LATER Including a cosmetic flask in the shape of a bull, the cylindrical neck emerging from its back, 4 in. (10 cm.) long; another cosmetic flask similar, in the shape of an ibex, mounted, 3 in. (7.5 cm.) long; a penannular bracelet with capped terminals, a pair of raised circular knobs behind, 3 in. (7.5 cm.) diam.; a kohl flask with three ibex head protomes, associated pin with ibex head terminal, jar 2¼ in. (5.6 cm.) high; another two kohl jars with associated ibex headed pins, jar 3 in. (7.5 cm.) high max; a Bactrian female figure, with flaring gown, hands clasped in front of her stomach, circular hole at top of head for attachment, circa 2nd millennium B.C. 3 1/8 in. (8 cm.) high; and an Islamic figure of a standing eagle, incised decorative patterns on wings, mounted, circa 10th-11th Century A.D., 2 1/8 in. (5.5 cm.) high (14)
