A group of Near Eastern seals Circa 4th-1st Millennium B.C. Including, an Akkadian serpentine cylinder seal with three adorants approaching an enthroned deity, and a black stone cylinder seal with a hero between two rampant bulls being attacked by two lions, some details added not in antiquity, circa 2350-2150 B.C., 28mm x 19mm and 30mm x 17mm; three Mesopotamian cylinder seals, two of pink marble, one with female figures seated on mats and one with two mouflons, 22mm x 22mm and 18mm x 19mm, and one of brown marble with seated female figures raising their hands, 16mm x 20mm, Jamdet Nasr Period, circa 3100-2900 B.C.; a grey marble and three pink marble square seals, all with quadrupeds, Jamdet Nasr Period, circa 3100-2900 B.C., 15mm-23mm, Jamdet Nasr Period, circa 3100-2900 B.C.; an Anatolian red jasper seal with a mouflon, circa 4th Millennium B.C, 25mm; a Syrian serpentine domed seal with a recumbent quadruped, 22mm; seven Late Babylonian seals, different subjects, circa 600-450 B.C.; a Sasanian domed seal with Gayomard, shown frontally holding two staffs, 21mm; and four other seals, possibly Not Ancient; and a cuneiform black stone inscribed fragment, part of a legal or administrative document, with three columns in linear script, all starting with the number '1' and listing some objects, Mesopotamian, circa 2700-2400 B.C., 37mm x 35mm (25)
