Comprising a lock-plate from a flintlock sporting gun, signed 'Forsyth & Co. Patent' and engraved with starbursts, a gundog and gamebird in a landscape, the last on the stepped tail (cock, steel and mechanism missing); four foliate engraved tube-retainers from a pair of d.b. tubelock sporting guns, probably by Joseph Manton, circa 1825; a quantity of detached parts including steels, mainsprings, steel-springs, mechanism parts, barrel-bolts and a variety of screws; a small brass-mounted powder-flask for percussion pistols, with bag-shaped body, threaded top and adjustable nozzle; a white-metal pin-fire cartridge extracting tool, by G. & J.W. Hawksley; a brass capping/decapping tool for 12-bore cartridges, stamped "Despatch Recapper" and retaining much of its lacquered and blued finish, by G. & J.W. Hawksley; a quantity of various ramrods and cleaning rods for antique and vintage longarms; eight tins of 'Joyce & Co.
