The 39 inch tapered round barrel in .67 caliber smoothbore. Silver fore-sight. Breech with London view and proof marks and maker's mark -B below a fleur-de-lys. Scroll-engraved lock converted to percussion. Brass furniture comprising: three ribbed ramrod thimbles; shaped, beveled counterplate engraved with leafage; triggerguard with spearpoint finial and engraved bow; buttplate with long, stepped finial. Full striped maple stock relief-carved with banding framing the barrel and ramrod troughs, with leafy scrolls below lower ramrod thimble, at fore and aft of triggerguard and at barrel tang and with double border panels at the triggerguard, counterplate and lock. Club buttstock with undercut banding. Condition: Showing dark patina overall. Stock and barrel shortened. Barrel and lock showing some light pitting with heavier pitting at breech. Furniture with dark patina. Generally sound wood showing wear, light marks and some chipping around lock and at barrel pins.
