A Kienzle German Arts & Crafts tall-case clock Print Late 19th/early 20th century, Schwenningen, Germany, movement and interior plaque with winged clock face maker's mark, case interior marked ''249'', movement stamped ''49292'' and ''115'', in the manner of Liberty & Co., the rectangular case of tooled polychrome and gilt-painted leather over wood, the glazed locking door opening to a hammered pewter dial attached to a three-train weight movement within a tooled red velvet interior, on short bracket feet, 70.5'' H x 20.25'' W x 13'' D, Provenance: Private Collection, Laguna Beach, CA. Condition: Overall good condition, with a few scattered minor scuffs and scratches commensurate with age. Cracking to leather across the lower face of case; approximately two small losses to leather veneer on right side of case, the largest approximately 1'' x .25''. Pendulum a later replacement. Weights appear to be period; finish does not match dial. Hammers bent, runs; Moran's does not guarantee working condition of clocks and watches.
