A Korean iron brown-decorated "Dragon" jar joseon dynasty, 17th/18th century Of slightly compressed ovoid form, with short, slightly flared neck, raised on a short circular footring, boldly painted with a sinuous four-clawed dragon chasing a flaming pearl, among stylized clouds, the ground a rich ivory with pale brown staining, the edge of the foot burned red-brown.
