A LARGE CELADON JADE HANGING CHIME 19TH CENTURY The large ruyi -shaped chime is carved in relief to each side with peach, pine trees and pavilions in riverscape scenes, all within bats and stylised dragons. This is suspended by chain links hanging from a smaller section carved in the form of an elaborate taotie mask. The stone of a fairly even tone. The wood stand of typical form with dragon and phoenix panels and spandrels. The largest jade, 9½ in. (24.1 cm.) wide, overall 21½ in. (54.5 cm.) high.
