A LARGE CELADON JADE TWO-HANDLED 'ARCHAISTIC' CUP 15TH-16TH CENTURY The twin-handled cup is carved in high relief to the exterior with taotie masks and raised flanges, the handles are wrapped with writhing chilong dragons each with a lingzhi fungus in its mouth. The wood cover is surmounted with an openwork jade finial carved with deer. The stone is of a mottled greyish-celadon tone with creamy white and russet flecks and inclusions. 7 1/8 in.
