A LARGE ITALIAN OVAL CAMPANA SHAPED PARCEL GILT AND TOLE PEINTE URN OR PLANTER MID 19TH CENTURY With elaborate scrolling handles and original zinc liner, on later pedestal 139cm high, 112cm wide across the handles Condition Report: The urn/planter with the marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use, some old splits and cracks, signs of repair and restorations to the scrollwork, the socle with an old split and join opening to the socle The gilt with rubbing and wear, some dirt and discolouration to the cream painting The liner is shallow, this is removable and there is a fabric lining to the body of the urn beneath this The stand is associated and later in date, this is simulated marble with painted 'scumbling' to enhance the effect, the urn is loose to this and in no way affixed Please see additional images for visual reference to condition Condition Report Disclaimer
