A large staffordshire green ground earthenware leech jar with perforated cover, circa 1835 [?] Samuel Alcock, of urn form with foliate shaped handles, the ribbed body with foliate gilt lining to polychrome scene of a castle and surrounding landscape, the jar and cover with yellow and gilt lining ( internal liner missing ) 37.5cm. (14¾in.) high
