This Model 78 is basically an all brown wall hanger or parts gun. (B) US Springfield Trapdoor rifle. CONDITION: Near relic condition Model 1873 rifle. Rear sight with replaced screws and missing blade and pitted, replaced ramrod. Stock has large repair at wrist and side with wood putty. All metal is dark brown. Poor bore. This is a wall hanger condition gun.
