A Massive Pair of Cloisonne Enamel Vases Meiji Period (late 19th Century) The elongated ovoid body with square shoulders and everted rims, decorated in colored enamels and silver wire with flying cranes, egrets and insect-eaten and withered lotus leaves, the ground at the shoulder a yellowish-green and at the base a pale blue, the neck enamelled with an elaborate brocade collar, the mounts copper 50¼in.
