A MATCHED PAIR OF REGENCY MAHOGANY TWO TIER ETAGERES CIRCA 1810 79cm high, 45.5cm wide, 27.5cm deep An almost identical single etagere sold Christies, Important English furniture, 5th April 2001, Property of a gentleman, Lot 68, (£8,813 including BP.) Please note, the cataloguing for this lot should read A MATCHED PAIR OF REGENCY ETAGERES and not as stated in the printed catalogue. Condition Report: SALEROOM NOTICE: The cataloguing for this lot should read 'A MATCHED PAIR OF REGENCY MAHOGANY ETAGERES', not a pair as stated in the catalogue. There are scratches, knocks, cracks and abrasions consistent with age and use. Observations include: there are variations in construction and small differences in the sizes of some parts; the ball turning to at least one turned support glued.
