A MEISSEN CRINOLINE GROUP OF THE REST DURING THE CHASE modelled by J.J. Kändler , he in a green jacket and breeches with gilt frogging, she in a pale-yellow hat, puce crinoline with scattered flower-sprays with gilt flowerheads and with a central turquoise stripe and cuffs, seated embracing she with a rifle across her skirt and he with his black tricorn hat and a dead hare at his feet, before a tree with a squirrel in the branches, on a mound base applied with flowers and foliage (broken through base and her dress and repaired, restoration to her hat, right arm and skirt and to his wrists and hands, hair-bow and sword, trunk of tree broken and restored, some chips and restoration to leaves, flowers and foliage, some branches partly lacking, crack to underside of her crinoline), circa 1745 20cm. high
