A Meissen tankard with Dresden silver-gilt mounts, circa 1725-30 painted by Johann Ehrenfried Stadler, with a chinoiserie landscape scene of a pagoda on a rocky island flanked on either side with a large branch of indianische Blumen, with a bird and insects in flight, the rims with a cell band and a diaper and half-flower head band in iron-red, crossed swords mark in blue enamel, the mount with maker's mark H E over Z, Dresden, circa 1731-37, 16cm., 6 1/4 in. high
