A MID-VICTORIAN EBONY, LEATHER AND SILVER-BOUND ROYAL PHOTOGRAPH ALBUM CIRCA 1880 The front cover mounted with a moulded ebony panel, centred by a gilt thread Prussian Royal crown and the initials 'VR' and with silver clasp, the interior with gilt-tooled front and back pages lined with burgundy watered silk, enclosing thirty gilt-edged pages with black and white photographs of mainly English country seats in the West country, including: Hardwick Grange, Attingham, Hawkstone, Pitchford, Apley Park, Candover, Seaton Knoles, Powis Castle and Montacute labelled in black ink, the front page with typed paper label 'PHOTOGRAPHIC ALBUM WITH SILVER CLASP (FORMERLY THE PROPERTY OF QUEEN VICTORIA)', the lock with maker's mark of George John Parry 3¼ in. (8 cm.) high; 18¾ in. (47.5 cm.) wide; 14¾ in. (37.5 cm.) deep
