A mid-Victorian silver four piece tea and coffee set, comprising teapot, coffee pot, twin-handled sucrier and lidded cream jug, of squat pear form and raised on a circular pierced base with four scroll feet, each decorated to the whole with chased and embossed flowers and foliage surrounding twin opposed scrolled cartouche, one vacant, the other having an engraved stag crest, with acanthus capped scroll handle and hinged lid surmounted with a bird finial, the tea and coffee pots further embellished with satyr masks to the zoomorphic spout.
