A MOKKOGATA IRON TSUBA , carved in shallow relief with two Chinese figures on a bridge, Choshu school, 19th century, 8.1cm; a round iron tsuba carved in yosukashi with a tree (overcleaned), 19th century, 7.9cm.; an oval iron tsuba , convulvulus in brass and copper hirazogan , the namako shaped hitsu-ana partially filled with asago and silver plugged, Heianjo school, 17th century, 8.4cm.; an oval iron tsuba decorated with a Chinese scene in gold, copper and shakudo nunome and takazogan , signed Jakushi , 19th century, 7cm., and a rounded rectangular iron tsuba , the tsuchimeji plate with long armed apes playing beneath the moon, gilt details, 19th century, 8.2cm.
