A NATURAL JADEITE JADE AND DIAMOND PENDANT SECOND QUARTER OF THE 20TH CENTURY The pierced and carved rectangular shaped jadeite jade panel carved with a bird amongst berries and coiling foliage, suspended by a rose cut diamond set bale, on a French curb link chain Size/dimensions: panel 5.8cm long, chain 50cm long Gross weight: 37.6 grams Offered for sale with a Gemmological Certification Services Gemmological Report, Report No: 5783-1509, dated 15.02.2023, stating: Species Natural Jadeite Comment No indication of impregnation Condition Report: There is a fracture to the panel which can only really be seen when held to the light, it looks like it may be from stone formation, it is to the top half of the stone. There is wear to the suspension loop from use, but it has not worn too much, slight channelling, the diamond are all present and correct.
