A pair of Continental patinated bronze models of the Townley Vase, after the Antique, second half 19th century, after a circa 2nd century AD original, of typical form, mounted to square section rouge griotte bases, 31cm high overall, 17cm wide Condition Report: Chocolate brown patination with some variegation/lightening to the extremities, raised figures and edges of socle, nibbling/slight chipping to marble bases. One of the bases has a small loss to one of the corners, the other has an area of filling to the side. The patina inside the liners is a little more irregular. Would benefit from a light dusting as there is some dirt in the recesses. Condition Report Disclaimer
