A PAIR OF DERBY BISCUIT FIGURES EMBLEMATIC OF EARTH AND AIR, Earth as a figure of a youth wearing a feathered hat and with his right arm raised, standing before a tree-stump, Air as a nymph in a flowing dress and with a dove perched on her raised left hand, standing before cloud scrolls, the square bases with canted angles moulded with a band of Greek key-pattern (his right hand detached and top of baton lacking, both with minor chips to extremities), incised No. 3 and impressed repairer's mark of Isaac Farnsworth, Wm. Duesbury & Co., circa 1780 17cm. and 18.5cm. high (2)
