A PAIR OF FAMILLE ROSE PAINTED ENAMEL VASES 18TH CENTURY The exterior of each vase is intricately decorated with two cartouches enclosing riverside landscape scenes depicting figures at leisurely pursuits, encircled by a band of stylised phoenixes and separated by colourful floral scrolls set against a bright yellow ground, with key-fret borders surrounding the mouth and the foot. There is a pair of monster-mask handles with loose rings to the sides. 10 ½ in. (26.7 cm.) high
