A PAIR OF FRENCH ORMOLU CANDLESTICKS LATE 18TH OR EARLY 19TH CENTURY STYLE Of fluted waisted tapering form each 28cm high, base 14.2cm diameter Please note, this lot has been re-catalogued as "LATE 18TH OR EARLY 19TH CENTURY STYLE", and differs from that shown in the printed catalogue. Condition Report: Wear, marks, knocks and scratches as per age, handling, use, and cleaning. Gilding rubbed quite heavily from use and looks to have been refreshed throughout. One drip pan stuck but pans may be later. Seamed construction. Some base edge distortion. Look to have been drilled for electricity Please see additional images for visual references to condition which form part of this condition report.
