A pair of gilt bronze and cut crystal five-light wall sconces Print Late 19th / early 20th century, each of typical bag chandelier form, acanthus-crowned, with two tiers of suspended clear cut-crystal garlands, the central gilt bronze semi-circular support issuing five outswept foliate-scroll arms each topped by an urn-form light fitted with a faux candle; each drip pan suspending six clear cut-crystal drops, electrified, 2 pieces, each: 42'' H x 27'' W x 15'' D, Provenance: Private Collection, La Jolla, CA. Condition: Overall good condition. General marks, scratches and rubbing commensurate with age. Drilled for electricity, as stated. Crystals with scattered chips and nicks; the largest approximately .25'' x .5''. One lacking two crystal drops and with one broken garland (lacking one connecting crystal). The other with a slight bend to pendant. Each possibly lacking a decorative element to central support; dual screw holes visible.
