A PAIR OF IRISH EARLY VICTORIAN GILTWOOD AND COMPOSITION SIDE TABLES WITH ITALIAN SPECIMEN MARBLE TOPS CIRCA 1835 - 40, THE MARBLE OF SLIGHTLY EARLIER DATE Each with a rectangular top inlaid with a lozenge trellis of various coloured stones including porphyry, lapis lazuli, agates, jaspers and fossil marbles within malachite and verde antico borders, one with a band of Greek key, the other a twisted ribbon, and with a white marble edge, above a panelled foliate-carved frieze centred by a coat-of-arms, on patera-headed panelled square tapering legs and block feet, re-decorated, one table with top extended and feet repaired 32 ½ in. (82 cm.) high; 60 in. (153 cm.) wide; 33 ¼ in. (84 cm.) deep
