A PAIR OF LOUIS XVI SILVER-GILT TWO-BOTTLE CRUETS MARK OF PIERRE-ANTOINE FAMECHON PARIS, 1785 Oval and with beaded rims and shell ends, on four openwork reeded scroll feet, with openwork scroll and bead bottle guards, later applied with a coat-of-arms below a coronet, each with engraved bottles with later silver-gilt stoppers, marked underneath and on base of each bottle guard, the rim and edge of bottle guards each marked with the décharge of Henry Clavel and Jean-François-Kalendrin, the later stoppers apparently unmarked 10 1/8 in. (25.7 cm.) long 27 oz. (838 gr.)
