LATE 18TH CENTURY, POSSIBLY BY GIUSEPPE MARIA BONZANIGO THE UPHOLSTERY SUPPLIED BY FILIPPO PEREGO CIRCA 1960
A PAIR OF NORTH ITALIAN GILTWOOD AND CREAM-PAINTED TABOURETS LATE 18TH CENTURY, POSSIBLY BY GIUSEPPE MARIA BONZANIGO THE UPHOLSTERY SUPPLIED BY FILIPPO PEREGO CIRCA 1960 Each with blue velvet squab-cushion on a tasselled seat above X-frame supports joined by stretchers, with two indistinct circular ink custom stamps to the underside, one with a printed paper customs label 'COMMUNE DI MILANO IMPOSTE DI CONSUMO MERCI DICHIARATA IN TRANSITO N.428095' and apparently with their original webbing, some tassels missing 20 in. (51 cm.) high; 25 in. (63.5 cm.) wide; 19 in. (48 cm.) deep (2)
