Collis & Co. of Birmingham, circa 1852 each applied with case openwork border incorporating scrolling vines, animals and masks, the centres engraved with a coat-of-arms and two crests surrouned by engraved scenes and scrolling foliage representing the seasons, signed 'G.R. Collis & Co. Artificers. Birmm', the undersides stamped 'G.R. COLLIS & CO. / MANUFACTURER/ CHURCH ST. BIRMM' 73cm, 28 3/4 in diameter
