A PAIR OF VIENNA-STYLE CLARET-GROUND OVIFORM VASES, COVERS AND STANDS with fluted necks enriched in pink and gilding, the bodies painted by Jacobsohn with groups of mythological figures in landscapes, one vase with a scene entitled Amor verführt Nymphen , the reverse with Nymphen und Amor , the other vase with Cupid und Zephisa , the reverse with Amors Triumpf , the grounds richly gilt with interlaced foliate-scrolls and reserved with yellow rectangular cartouches enriched in gilding with animals and birds in chariots, within shrubby landscape vignettes, surrounded by smaller pink cartouches, on fluted flared stems and square stands, artist's signatures, blue beehive and Austria marks, late 19th Century 27in.
