The mane, ear and tail are finely detailed. The stone is of a pale brown tone with areas of honey brown and russet inclusions. 2 5/8 in. (6.7 cm.) wide, with zitan stand. Provenance Private English Collection, acquired by the vendor's grandmother in the 1950s, and thence by descent within the family.
