Farmer of beehive form, the body with a mottled dusty rose glaze speckled with white and green, the underside bearing a six-character Kangxi mark, the foot and neck mounted with American silver bands stamped with anthemia, the hinged cover enclosing a pierced and carved jade pebble, depicting a fish among lotus and water-weeds, the stone of a pale celadon tone, retaining traces of the russet skin, underside of cover stamped STERLING, glass insert Height 4 in., 10.2 cm
