A PORTUGUESE NIELLOED SILVER SNUFF BOX AND A GROUP OF FIVE RUSSIAN SILVER ITEMS, the first Oporto, 1886-88, rectangular, with diaperwork nielloed sides centering monogrammed oval, the hinged cover finely nielloed with hunting scene, within foliate scrolls-- 3¾in. (9.5cm.) long , the Russian items comprising: a nielloed rounded rectangular cheroot case, the hinged cover with nielloed troika scene, the reverse applied with gold monogram, with stylized flowerhead nielloed ground, with push piece-- Moscow, 1889--3½in. (8.8cm.) long , a broadly lobed pear shaped ewer, on shaped circular foot, with long molded cylindrical neck and scroll handle-- Moscow, 1867--10¾in. (27.3cm.) high , a molded oval silver gilt salt-- 1855 , a octagonal salt with flaring rim, four footed-- St. Petersburg, 1836 , and a frosted finish compressed oval cream jug, with entwined tendril handle with bud-- early 20th Century--gross weight 27.5oz.
