A RARE BRONZE 'DOUBLE HORSE' YOKE ORNAMENT NORTHWEST CHINA, INNER MONGOLIA, 5TH-4TH CENTURY BC The ornament is in the shape of a pair of hollow-cast horses standing on two horizontal bars and joined by a bar that spans the back of their necks. They have circular, cut-out eyes, a circular opening in the front of the muzzle, upright ears and long tails with notched edges. The bodies and heads are subtlely detailed. 3¼ in. (8.2 cm.) long
