Compare with two similar pairs of ear cups in the Shanghai Museum, with 'cloud and beast' and 'cloud and bird' designs, respectively, illustrated in In a Myriad of Forms: The Ancient Chinese Lacquers, Shanghai, 2018, pp.43-44. 木胎，杯呈橢圓形，口微斂，兩側新月形耳微上翹，弧腹，平底。杯内底以褐黑漆為地，用朱漆繪卷雲紋，内壁髹朱漆。耳，口沿均以褐黑漆為地，朱漆繪紋樣，耳部繪卷雲紋，口沿繪幾何紋。杯外壁素髹褐黑漆，口沿朱繪兩排點紋。 一耳背面針刻「工野」二字，即名為野的工匠製作了此對耳杯。耳部呈新月形的耳杯一般稱作圓耳杯，是漢代最為流行的耳杯樣式。可參考上海博物館藏兩對彩繪雲獸紋及雲鳥紋漆耳杯，見《千文萬華：中國歷代漆器藝術》，上海，2018年，頁43-44。
