St. Petersburg and wound through the recessed Roman hour ring, all hands of blued steel, the movement with arched rectangular plates with four double screwed pillars, wheel train with five crossings and jewelled in screwed châtons, maintaining power, deadbeat escapement with adjustable pallets, fine beat adjustment to the crutch, the steel and zinc gridiron pendulum with weight jar and massive brass-cased bob, delicate pulley and original brass-cased small lead weight, the mahogany case with bevelled glass to the long door and small windows to the sides 52½in. (133cm.) high
