A Regency rosewood striking bracket clock , the break-arch case with fishscale sound frets to the sides, the moulded base on wood bun feet (one missing), the dial signed John Hawthorn Newcastle on a silvered sector in the matted centre with calendar aperture, silvered chapter ring with later blued moon hands, foliate spandrels and strike/silent ring in the arch, the five pillar twin fusee movement now with anchor escapement, strike on bell above, the foliate engraved backplate with later movement securing brackets to the case, with pendulum -- 16in.
