A ROMAN PALE GREEN GLASS TREFOIL-LIPPED JUG CIRCA 4TH CENTURY A.D. The bulbous body with concave base, the cylindrical neck with inward-folded rim, the applied handle with pinched thumb rest, 5¾ in. (14.6 cm.) high; an iridescent glass juglet, the squat body with cylindrical neck and conical mouth, decorated with turquoise zigzag and spiralling trail, thick trails around upper and lower neck, circa 5th Century A.D., 3¾ in. (9.5 cm.) high; a green glass jar, the spherical body with flared mouth and inward-folded rim, thick zigzag trails encircling the shoulder and rim, 2½ in. (6.3 cm.) high; a pale green glass jar on broad stemmed foot, the short cylindrical neck and everted rim decorated with applied turquoise trail, with three handles applied to rim and shoulder, iridescence, 33/8 in. (8.6 cm.) high, both 4th Century A.D.; a pale blue glass jar, the bulbous body with short cylindrical neck with wide inward-folded rim, 3rd-4th Century A.D., 3½ in. (9 cm.) high; and a pale aubergine glass jug with bulbous body, the slender neck gently flaring to the rim, decorated with spiral trail, pale green glass handle with pinched thumb rest, encrustation and some iridescence, 1st-2nd Century A.D., 4¾ in.
