A Samson octagonal armorial plate Circa 1900 Painted in the famille rose palette and gilt with a coat-of-arms and the motto DEO JUVANTE CONSILIO ET ANIMIS , within a border painted with sprays of flowers and gilt with a prunus branch entwined with a ribbon, with wooden stand the plate -- 8¾in. (22.5cm.) wide; a French porcelain cylindrical jardinière painted with a classical maiden seated in an exterior beside a bird-cage and two putti, on waisted foot, late 19th century -- 10¼in.
