A SEVRES (HARD PASTE) BLUE GROUND TOPOGRAPHICAL PLATE Iron-red stencilled Manufacture Imperiale mark and date cypher for 1807, incised 1161 Mon Painted with a view of Prince Murat and his troops entering the city of Vienna, named in French on the underside, the cobalt blue border stencilled in gilt with four variant Austrian soldier's hats or helmets alternate with sabers, a gilt band around the cavetto and edging the rim 9in. (22.9cm.) diam.
