A SEVRES (HARD PASTE) TWO-HANDLED ECUELLE, COVER AND TWO-HANDLED STAND CIRCA 1780, CROWNED INTERLACED L 'S IN BLUE, YELLOW PAINTER'S MARK gt FOR ETIENNE-JEAN GREMONT AND GILDER'S MARK IN FOR JEAN CHAUVAUX Of hemispherical form, the slightly domed cover with pomegranate, leaf and bud finial, the handles pierced and leaf moulded, painted with oval cartouches of vases and baskets of flowers on stone ledges, linked by scrolling garlands of flowers and foliage, within elaborate gilt daiper pattern and scroll borders.
