A Sevres Style Gilt Bronze Mounted Porcelain Urn late 19th century of baluster form, the body mounted with handles headed by female masks and painted to depict a draped maiden and cherubs in a garden setting, signed C. Labarre, having interlaced Ls centered with an M above an S and a partially obscured Made in France mark to the underside. Height 34 inches. Estimate $ 3,000-5,000 In overall good, stable, complete condition. Cap with tight hairline crack and a few glaze skips to interior rim. Otherwise porcelain good without cracks, loss or repair. Examination under UV light did not reveal any condition issues. Bronze mounts all present and tight with fairly even, dirty patina. Additional images available upon request.
