A SIKH SILVER-HILTED SHAMSHIR; ANOTHER TWO INDIAN SHAMSHIRS; AND AN INDIAN TULWAR 19TH CENTURY The first with watered blade encrusted with a small panel of scrollwork incorporating a brief inscription in gold on one side at the forte, silver cross piece parcel-gilt and involving a series of engraved sikh devices, silver-gilt pommel chased with foliage, the grip bound in silver wire, knuckle-chain and in a British officer's steel scabbard; the remaining two shamshirs, each with curved blade on one with the hilt and scabbard mounts entirely plated in silver, the other with hilt in relic condition; and the tulwar inlaid with a brass inscription on one side of the blade and the hilt decorated with a series of silver koftgari roundels the first -- 30 5/8 in.
