A small French Empire gilt and patinated bronze 'au bon sauvage' mantel timepiece, circa 1820 6.5-cm engine turned gilt dial with Roman numerals and Breguet hands, anchor movement with silk suspended pendulum, regilt bronze bale case flanked by a patinated bronze hunter with bow and arrow, a palm on the other side, stepped oval base with an applied palmette mount raised on turned feet, restoration height 24.5cm
