A snake-motif walking stick Print Late 19th/early 20th century Solid wood, relief-carved with a spiraling snake 41.25'' H x 1.625'' Dia. Provenance: The Collection of Mrs. Phyllis Twogood; by descent to Trudie Twogood Lyons; The Estate of Tammis Day, Sula, MT, acquired from the above. Exhibitions: Ravalli County Museum, Hamilton, MT. Condition: Overall good condition with scattered scuffs, scratches, nicks, wear and stable shrinkage cracks commensurate with age. A 2''-long vertical crack to center of snake's body.
