A South Indian brown patinated bronze sectional figural altar oil lamp, 18th/19th century, the triple-arched surmount centred with a peacock, supported by a pair of figural columns, each modelled as Lakshmi holding a leaf shaped oil well, standing on the back of an elephant, flanking a Shiva shrine swing with Shiva, Ganesh, Naga and a Nandi bull seated around a lingam, all raised on a stepped rectangular base, height 39.3cm
