Steel action with unmarked brass elevator; early checkered oval on dust cover; set trigger. Top of receiver tang marked Model 1873. Walnut stock with steel buttplate and original four-piece brass tipped cleaning rod. Factory records confirm barrel length and set trigger. Condition: Good. Dry dark patina overall, never cleaned; few scattered marks from use. All surfaces dry, some rust on metal surfaces, functions well; magazine tube with small dent near muzzle.
