A Staffordshire porcelain part-dessert service, possibly Ridgway, circa 1830 each piece printed and coloured with a chinoiserie pattern of vases and baskets of flowers, boxes and fruit, the borders and handles moulded with grapes and leaves, comprising two shell-shaped dishes, one oval shaped dish and eleven plates, painted pattern number 2/643, together with a group of 23 Spode stone china 'Indian Tree' pattern dessert plates, 20cm., 7 7/8 in' diam., black printed marks, pattern number 2147; a set of eight English porcelain soup plates, circa 1851, each printed and coloured with three birds amongst branches laden with fruit, beneath a running leaf and berry border and shaped rim, printed registration lozenge marks and pattern number 5017, 26cm., 10 1/4 in. diam. and a pair of Meissen spill vases, late 19th/ early 20th century of trumpet form with waisted spreading foot, painted with a flowering branch and small sprigs, gilded rims, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue, impressed numerals, painted numeral 380 in iron-red, 9.5cm., 3 3/4 in. high (47)
