artist's board, landscape, perhaps a field study. Eanger Irving Couse (B.1866-D.1936) a trained American artist, became best known for his Taos pueblo and Native American portrayals. The piece was purchased from McAdoo Galleries in Santa Fe in the 1970's , and is titled and dated by the gallery on the verso, 1930 Rio Chiquita. The board is now mounted on cardboard. Site: 8.75"H x 12"W. Frame: 18"H x 21"W. Circa - 1930.
