A TSUBA BY SEKI YOSHINORI AND TEN OTHERS Broad oval, a heron in shibuichi takazogan amongst lotus and reeds, signed Soriuken with a large gold seal Yoshinori and dated 1869 made at the age of 70, 6.4cm; oval, a temple bell and waves in yo-sukashi , gilt details, signed Yoshu Matsuyama ju Shoami Morizumi , 7.6cm; rounded square, the surface carved as wood grain inlaid with aoi leaves in two colours of gold, signed Shoami , 7.8cm; round, inlaid with writing utensils, shakudo rim, signed Shoami Shigetsugu , 8.6cm; hachimokko, tsuchimeji with irregular stampings and kanji , Tembo school, 8.3cm; round, formed as a butterfly in yo-sukashi within the rim, Shoami , 8.1cm; round, stylised chiselling and piercing, signed Shoami Shigenobu , 8.4cm; Oval, pierced with sedge hats, 6.3cm; Round, pierced as a wheel, 6.3cm; Mokkogata, yasurime , with floral piercing, 6.2cm; and a mokkogata tsuba with yasurime surface, inscribed Yamakichi , 7.8cm., all 17th-19th century (11)
